The heat treatment process for 20MoCr4 is critical to its performance, including:
· Annealing: soften the material, improve plasticity and remove internal stress.
· Quenching: to improve hardness and strength, the medium can be salt water, water or oil.
Tempering: reduce quenching stress, restore toughness and elasticity.
